Mindful Yoga classes with Catherine Bailey
Mindful Yoga is Hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation combined. Classes have a vinyasa/flow element to selected music. Mindful Yoga is a holistic experience, supporting mind, body and soul.
Catherine teaches weekly classes, courses and one to one private sessions.

Beginner classes: Suitable for people who are new to yoga and may wish to start at a slower pace. A slower class with full instructions, guidance and support. Developing practice and learning how to relax at a deep level.
Mixed level class: For beginners who have an established practise and wish to develop further and for intermediate level yoga. These mixed classes are adapted to meet the needs of the students, often offering different variations of an asana/pose.

A Beginner’s yoga course designed for people who have never done yoga before but would like to try, or for people who have had a break and want to return.
Learning yoga has many health and wellbeing benefits which include: Improves mental focus, improves physical strength, supports flexibility and promotes relaxation, encourages good posture, aids relaxation, reducing stress and tension. Promotes a feeling of wellbeing.
Week one - Welcome. Introduction, Warm up, Five poses (asanas) final relaxation. Week two - Teaching. Warm up. six poses (asana) Relaxation/Savasana Week Three -Teaching section. Yoga Class. Final Relaxation. Week Four – Yoga Class. Final Relaxation.
Each week you learn new teachings, practice yoga asana and vinyasa flow, and finish with relaxation. You will also receive an e-book and mp3 mindfulness mediation recordings.
Throughout this course ample time is given for Q and A’s to support learning. On completion of the course you will feel confident to join a beginner yoga class. Course Venue: The Lotus Retreat, 2 London Street, Faringdon, Oxfordshire. SN7 7AA

Lotus retreat in Faringdon - video
Catherine welcomes you to the Lotus retreat, a calm and restorative place.
Catherine offers a place of understanding and emotional support to parents.
After experiencing the death of her son George, in 2009, aged twelve years old, from a brain tumour, she reaches out to support parents. This is done on the internet, FaceTime, Skype or phone. Please get in touch on the contact page.
